No offense intended, and that explains it. I hadn’t watched that animation but I remembered thinking “this isn’t accurate to the actual pistol” because of the sights, extractor is different, the Glock mag, the extra pins, etc. I really wish gun Jesus had actually opened up the frame.
Its interesting and I don’t see why it wouldn’t be mechanically possible but usually in tilting barrel designs, my understanding is the barrel itself is the delay component, with interface surfaces that are therefore under great stress during the firing cycle. Something to think about as you design this.
