The Ark @fosscad.io Polymaker PA612-CF15 Printing Issues on H2D
Originally posted by u/sparton175 at 2025-06-27T04:14:45Z
I have a Bambu H2D with 0.6mm nozzles and I've been trying to dial it in. I've been having a hard time with overhangs and the vertical surfaces are inconsistent. I've tried to dial in the flow rate using the built in calibration but based on the samples that it printed it says I need a flow rate of 0.81 or so which seems crazy low to me.
This spool I have is from the PA612-CF beta, it's several years old at this point. It has been in a PrintDry filament dryer at 85c for several days and is being printed directly from the dryer.
I can provide additional details like my settings and whatnot but I don't really think my speed or other settings related to that could be the issue, I'm printing between 25-60mm/s.
My nozzle is at 290, bed is at 50, chamber is at 45, fan is off, factor k is at 0.041.

The Ark @fosscad.io Extruder problem or clog?

I’ve used my brothers printer before but just got my own from a friend. Can’t figure out why but it seems like it’s not pushing out near enough filament as it runs. It comes out super spotty and inconsistent. Newly opened roll or PLA +

Bought some 3dxtech nylon 6 gf30 filament. Can't seem to get it to stay flat. I've printed polymakers pa6 gf and cf filaments before and they've come out perfect, for some reason this beautifully colored filament won't stay unbananad. And that's for every part I've tried so far. And it's definitely not a bed adhesion issue because I wish I noticed before pulling this off the plate but it curled and lifted the bed plate off the bed. Was full on stuck there even after cooling down.

I'm getting ready to build an LR308, however the reinforcement kit is out of stock and I have the ability to cut them myself, am I just missing step, DXF, or dwg files for the reinforcements, otherwise, does anyone have them? I only see the STL for them in the file pack currently

The Ark @fosscad.io What Filament should I use for the Nylaug?
Originally posted by u/Traditional_Echo_687 at 2025-06-26T23:12:22Z
I've heard many different people say different filaments. I was planning on using Bambu PAHT-CF because I've heard it has very little creep and doesn't suck up water too much. I'm unable to anneal prints for the foreseeable future but I can dehydrate filament. Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated!

I’ve built 20+ of these fosscannon but this is the first time I’ve ran into this problem. I have to push on the trigger to the left in order for it to fire . Any ideas on what the problem is ?
The Ark @fosscad.io eSun PLA+ vs eSun ASA
Originally posted by u/M4ndoTrooperEric at 2025-06-26T22:27:23Z
3d printed this mount for my krag a few months ago. My friend is giving me an old mosin scope with good eye relief with two pictures ring mounts. I want to 3d print a pic rail large enough and ive just bought some ASA for high ambient temp outdoor uses.
Would the ASA hold up better and resist melting on the hot barrel? When i posted this a few months ago some of yall raised concern of the PLA+ potentially melting on the barrel. I dont usually shoot more than 5-10 rounds through this per range session and the recoil is low enough im not worried about it breaking vs the PLA+.
I dont have anything except PLA+ and ASA. Any thoughts on how ASA should hold up while screwed directly onto the (potentially hot) barrel would be appreciated

Saikou safety adapted to fit in the DB9 (UNTESTED)
Uses the original Selector and cam arm New Housing pieces (A&B) New cam arm for smoother function
I added a hole in the back of the housing for an M3 heat insert and then drilled and countersunk a hole for an M3 bolt to fit 8mm down on the frame to securly attach the safety to the frame. I used an M3 x 10mm bolt tot hold it in, depending on how deep you countersink your hole you may need a different size, you can figure it out. Probably a better way to do this but I just wanted to see if it will even work first.
Just posted on the sea @my reddit username. Hopefully ill get a mac upper soon and test it myself but would love feedback if anyone wants to try it out!
