    There are 3d printed 308 rifles with thousands of rounds through them so you should realize that a durable mck is possible. I'm pretty sure I've seen some designs out there already but I have no interest in them.

    I think people go into it thinking it will be as easy as a glock or ar which is on the easiest end while this is on the harder end. There are some parts that you have to adjust which was a decision by the dev team which I'd disagree on but if you know how to tune a gun than it's just another build. It doesn't help that the instructions are trash and doesn't explain things that need to be explained.

    It comes with a brace option but with the current issues, I just got a rifle config for now with that faux suppressor.

    Hi, am i right to say that the best cost-benefit 3d print gun still the FGC9 MK II or there is another? This one is so hard to make.

    It’s completely legal to build your own firearm. They have the same sbr and suppressor rules and still require tax stamps.

    People routinely get into the thousands of rounds shot on 3D printed firearms.

    But gets dirty so easily. It's got smudges all over it and I was cleaning my hands often so that wouldn't happen.

    That faux suppressor doesn't increase length as it's a sleeve. If it increases length to the legal limit, it has to be attached permanently like pin and weld. With a 16" barrel, the oal is 26" but I believe someone had a similar issue and made a longer end cap.

    Check the bom. The build kit is $400 with barrel but it's at least a 2 month backorder. The guide is as clear as mud, has errors in multiple steps, and the model has issues that need to be modified to get it all working. This is an advanced build and would not suggest it as your first.

    Why are people saying this is so hard to build? Are they referring to the bolt? Or just the printing?

    I keep seeing people say this build is too hard to create and it's scaring me. I have wanted a p90 ever since I played goldeneye 007 as a child zipping up bad guys with the rcp-45... I got into 3d2a and now this is out and I was excited but now I keep seeing people say this is really hard to build. Is this one of those "nothing worth doing is ever easy" things? Or is the difficulty overblown?

    And in my state (MD) it was legal now not so much to build our own firearms now everything has to be serialized u can't even go to a range with a p80 frame anymore unless it's serialized

    This is a complete revamp of the original.

    Changes include:

    • 45 degree angle for better feeding • Path for the cartridges is now one continuous curve • No filing needed for the mag catch slot (height extended 0.5mm) • Slotted both sides and improved aesthetics • Removed material from the bottom of the dovetail for flat placement in slicers • Minimised supports needed. •One extra dummy round needed. Total of 15, not including the top and bottom followers.

    AR22 Version of this rework will be out in the next few days.

    I have a complete 10mm hi point. Any cool shells for it like the halo magnum? If not, Id be willing to buy a .40 parts kit for something cool too. Ive seen videos of the 10mm hipoint running .40 with no jams.

    i may sound like a idiot or new but i’ve always known about being able to print pieces and lowers and all that but id be a liar to say i knew i could just go to 3dprintfreedom or something and order the full kit in one shipping, this is more then less a question, am i understanding it correctly? like can i really just order “rebal 9” and have everything needed for it to function? and if so what other places got kits like these, and last question, can i get a super safety or something on the rebal 9 or maybe another kit build?

    Both the reddit saved comment, and the og settings I had devised myself, created a wierd chamfer on the edge of where the upper goes, which created an error near the topmost takedown pin, visible in the side pictures of both the lowers.

    u/MakeItMakeItMakeIt 's settings created the best clean tops, however, there were a few supports that failed to adhere to themselves, and broke up midprint. This was a minor error, and was able to be filed down where they failed. But did create a "hairball" of filament where it failed on the trigger guard and made it a bit ugly.

    Prognosis: Ill stick with MAKEITX3's settings, as the support area's were the cleanest of them all most likely because the interface distance was set to zero.

    apologies for all the posts regarding this build. I deleted my last post as i couldnt edit to upload the video of the issue. in the vid above you can see that the first and 3rd rounds arent fully seated in the chamber.. it seems like the bolt isnt going far enough back each time? Not sure if this is due to the printed sten mag im using or something else that is not aligned right. Any input would be appreciated. this is in reference to this post here:
