I have about a 400$ budget getting a printer I wanted the elegoo Centauri carbon for 299 but with all the limited parts available I don’t know about it. I found a flashforge 5m pro for 350. so which printer is better between the 5m pro, Bambi lab mini or the elegoo carbon. I don’t know how much space I need I also want to use polymer pa12 cf filament for a dd19.2 I might use pla+ to start off with because it’s easier

So I just printed this and after thinking it came out aight I realized the support in the magwell causes the mag release pin hole to not be filled in. Is there a way I can cover it or should I just try to remove the support and print again?

For the past few months, it looks like the the Bolt Hold Open Assembly for Mac n Cheese v2.5 and Mac n Cheese v2.5 Core Component kits have been out of stock on Middleton Made's site. Does anyone have a reliable alt for purchasing these parts they'd recommend?

Currently attempting a Glock Magazine compatible 2011 design.
I cannot find any resources with good enough Glock 17 magazine dimensions.
If you would like to contribute to this project, own a Glock 17 magazine and a pair of calipers; You are the perfect candidate!
Please pm me and I’ll give you a run down of the dimensions I need.
If all goes well I should have a completed model within the next few days.
Thank you for your time!

Not sure what I changed in the past week but noticed my recent print failed on the font. It shows up as such on Cura and Bambu so it is not a code error and likely user.

Hello and zalutations reddit,
This is the first " full body " kit I have ever designed. It is for a Mossberg 500, and will eventually have a few variations included to accommodate things such as longer barrels/mag-tubes, shell catcher, different stocks/rear grips, etc. The current setup is on an 18.5 barrel and 5 round mag tube. The design is very easy to piece together once printed as well with minimal hard ware, doesn't require a specialized 3D printed receiver to work ( such as the recently released fossberg, ) and can be functionally printed using very minimal supports on even the most poorly tuned machines. All of the rails themselves, the forend loop and the receiver attachments can be omitted/replaced by design as well.
This is simply printed in PLA+ for now and was quickly thrown together to see how the real world co

Not a fan of printed back plates, and couldn’t find any other solutions. Slapped this together in TinkerCad while still learning Fusion.
So far PLA+ and PA6-GF have held up to 1 mag each and approximately 250 slide racks with pla+ and 80 slide racks with pa6. They haven’t broke during this time, just what I’ve managed to do during prints.
Ignore the printed brace bars: I’m currently working on a jig to dremel your own, as well as an “alloy” version that you a print and reinforce with cheap metal plates.

Printing pa6 cf20 was not a simple process to me initially but with so many of you guys' input, I was able to print everything clean as hell. Bought an air fryer, wasn't enough, had to return it and buy something else that fit my needs. Had no ventilation, got put in the right direction for that. First layer adhesion wasn't working, you guys helped me. With alot of trial and error with speeds, nozzles and bed temps, I got it dialed in where I don't need to be glued to the tent watching it anymore.
Nylaug build hopefully starting soon! Once the barrel gets here anyways
