This year marks the 40th anniversary of the NA release of the Nintendo Zapper so I figured it was a good year to finally strike this off my list. It would have been easier just making it a 99% build plus buck mark kits aren't very common but I already got the kit and started so just powered through. This was released earlier than I had planned because I need more testers so it is a beta and not running reliably with the slide cover adding weight.
Also if you have filament color suggestions that would match better, share with everyone.

The rimfire FTN doesn't hold zero well when using subsonic ammo. Has anyone else had this issue? Its fine with supers, just hits all over the place once the velocity drops. I'm thinking maybe the baffle design? Is there something better for rimfire subs?

Good evening fellow freedom lovers. I have an issue with my latest print. I’ve printed a few FTN.3’s before, all for 5.56. This time I tried to make a 30 cal model for my new 300blk. Well after three days, my FTN.3 30 cal finished printing. I immediately noticed that it was a dud, completely garbage and I don’t know why. As you can see the middle and top layers are not properly printed. I dried the filament, I have a dehumidifier. I leveled the bed, I followed the print instructions on the read me. Can anyone tell me what went wrong?

FGC9 doesn’t cycle I tried my fgc9 for the first time today.
Cartridges are feeding correctly, primers get struck centered and go off reliably. However the gun doesn't cycle.
Possible issues are:
Chamber is too tight/ throat is too tight. When closing and opening the bolt the cartridge doesn't fall out on itself. But it's not stuck very hard. I can poke it out with my finger. the load is not strong enough. I use 115 grain projectiles and 3.8 grain of red Hilti powder. Maybe that's too low? the upper bolt rod is too long or the main bolt spring is too long? My upper bolt rod is about 220mm long instead of the 216mm mentioned in the documentation. What should I do and fix first?
I have a flex hone and honed the chamber already. But obviously it wasn't enough. Guess I have to hone it even more.
Or try a highler load of 4.0

Stupid question do I need a 10/22 takedown to print a 10/22 takedown? I have a normal 10/22 but are any of the mechanisms printed? Wondering if anyone is having success with any of the cheaper CF nylons. Most of them seem to be 15% Carbon Fiber compared to Fiberon's 20%. I'm curious how this might effect rigidity/shrink/creep?

I've retired my ender 3 because it would get the heat creep error on long knickknack prints 😉. Since my ender 5 Plus BLtouch was murdered in factory (only way it got damaged) I had to take my ender 3 out of retirement.
