Forgive me if this isnt the place, I dont believe this breaks any rules.
I am having a really hard time figuring out how to get a super safety printed in metal. How are you guys doing it? Some of the questions I cant really find answers to are,
Is carbon fiber nylon good enough? (Seems it isn't based off the Hoffman video) How do you guys get them manufactured? And would it be easier to have a cnc shop, or gunsmith build me one?
I know I sound like the ABC boys, but I want to put one in my ar-15 and ar-9, but im having a hard time getting a good answer (for good reason).
I have a very capable 3d printer, but i would prefer a longer lasting part (if possible)
I also have access to a lathe, but I doubt that would be enough.
What are my options here?
