Support top and bottom being z gap, these settings are great for printing pretty much anything. Some settings will change if you decide to to ever change later height. This looks great for a lower but having weak supports that bind with the print weakens the actually print, so for this should be fine I would melt it with a hot iron or heat up a screw driver and melt it together and sand it to create a strong solid bottom, doesn't make up for the loss of strength above though. If you do anything else make sure your supports are a strong foundation for your print

Fair enough. My untrained eye didn't see anything that scared me, but I wanted to hear from someone with actual experience. Your bottom line is correct: filament is cheap and fingers are expensive!

I'm not OP, I was just commenting about what settings I typically use and get good results with.

So when i was buying my patmos G19 gen3 upper i asked the guys if he happens to have rails and he said no later he had a little case full of bags of parts he let me look through and found a set. He said there might be extra parts in here So i got it it looks just like an aves or riptide but it came with rails 2 pins and a tiny spring (spring is for gen5 if I’m correct)

NOW The pins provided wont fit in the front rail.. so I measure and i get 2.8 i happen to have a drill bit that’s the same size i was using it to bang the other pins and it fits right in smooth s tiny bit of play its not rock solid but i measure it and its 2.7. Mm Also no other pin from LPK fits through

Tried it on 2 different frames sanded out to make the whole block fit perfectly, out of the frame it doesn’t start to fe

As the tittle says the trigger doesn’t engage with the sear. The sear assembly had a tight install which I had to remove access filament to make the assembly fit, slide cock backs normally, slide stop works, grip safety doesn’t and the trigger doesn’t engage with the sear but does work. (XD40 Full-size btw)

    Glock mag spring question

Wanted to do straight mags for a project I’m working on. (These Fair Deal mags are excellent fwiw)

I got a pack of extended mag Glock springs for next to nothing and was hoping to use them.

Obviously they’re a bigger diameter spring, they’ll seat on the follower differently, etc. They’re also too large for the channel in the mag.

Any designs/applications I can easily use these springs on? Just more Glock mags?

Looks like I’ll need to order the black dog springs for these Fair Deal mags, easy to justify now that I’ve printed one and see how sturdy they are

Im looking to get into printing. Im reading that most printers have tolerances of +/- .5mm. Is this tight enough for parts and accessories such as lowers, scope mounts, etc. Thought about getting sla printer but seems theres a big difference.

What’s everyone’s preferred way of printing like a Glock lower and what is their go to filament? Been using Esun PLA+ and doing rails up getting some decent prints. Gonna try a rails down right now. But wanted to get some intake from everyone else who has printed some and used them. How reliable is PLA+ is pa6-gf30 better or petg? Just trying to gain some knowledge since I’m only a month into printing.

Is it big enough for things like a fgc 9, wisp or a DeAR22?

What are the size limits for printing parts?

Any help and maybe even better alternatives are appreciated.🫶

Now that FRTs are fully back on the menu, I finally got around to a print that has been on my to-do list. I ended up having to make a couple of tweaks to the Hit Arm and Locking bar, but took it out for a test today and it ran great.

The guide says that it requires an M16 disconnector and goes on to warn of hammer follow if the hit arm wears too much. As I was tinkering with it and thinking about the operation (https://imgur.com/a/2lCtUuk), I realized that if you are using an M16 cut receiver you can just use an unmodified AR-15 disconnector. Using a standard disconnector instead of the M16 disconnector has the added benefit that if the FRT fails it just defaults to normal operation instead of experiencing hammer follow. If you're using a receiver that isn't M16 cut, I think that using the standard disconnector wil
