Update: It fucking eats! Need to invest in some 20 round mags asap. The only issue I was having was a failure to fully feed which I think was caused by not having the brace properly shouldered, could have also been I have heard it likes 73 gr rounds and I was only able to get my hands on some 71s for now.

My prints often get this almost “fuzzy skin” effect in areas of the print closest to corners. (No I don’t have fuzzy skin selected in the slicer). My first guess is over-extrusion. Prints come out otherwise functional, but ugly as sin. Any advice is appreciated.

Kind of an oddball question, but it fits here, I think?
My main interest is that I want to be able to use CAD/3D modeling to design firearm frames and things of that nature, and then also be able to take those 3D printed prototypes eventually to metal (maybe).
Does anyone know if SDI would be a good option to learn those skills? Or are there other courses/schools I could look into to get better at the 3D modeling side of things? I’ve heard from a few sources that say SDI is a sham for learning real gun smithing, but I really am more interested in learning online the CAD side of things, and then maybe learning the actual manufacturing part later.

I’m not sure If this is what it’s supposed to look like on certain areas the bed appears to be level. It’s an ender 5 pro I’ve had nothing but issues with attempting to make sure the bed is level, and calibrating everything.
