The UBAR is open at the bottom where the trigger comes out. Gas escapes through the path of least resistance. I designed a dust cover for this on my odd sea profile. “UBAR2 trigger dust cover”. It’s not necessary but stops the gas from porting out the trigger and keeps sand/dirt out of the internals.

Very cool thank you sir. Excellent job.😁👍

Interesting I thought I saw gas escape or something lol.

It worked fine! Only had one round in the mag in this video for safety reasons but it ran a few full mags with no jams after this video.

Yeah, this would be manual action in the vein of bolt, lever, and pump actions.

After the Washington Navy Yard shooting, the NYT referred to the 870 the shooter used as a "law enforcement style shotgun", so it's pretty clear they have a list of terms of "things the citizens shouldn't have" ready to go.

It was considerably cheaper iirc. Forgotten weapons made a video about them a while back.

  • u/powerman228 · 2023-01-15 18:14:35 UTC · score 26

Legally speaking, though, because it requires an additional action it’s not truly semiautomatic, right?

Trying to dial in settings on a Bambu X1C before committing to the first print using Polymaker PLA Pro.

Any recommendations between inner/outer vs outer/inner order of walls when printing?

File's not released yet but I love attention so here I am posting about it early. The Nova Arms Cityhunter X is one of the few named non-exotic guns from the Cyberpunk Red core rulebook. A heavy pistol with 2 rate of fire, and 3d6 damage. There's no official art, so this is my interpretation using some other non canon art I found online as a starting point.

This'll be released soon, I'm printing the frame now. Built for G17L, you'll need an extended slide stop lever and Gen 5 slide stop spring, otherwise OEM Gen 3 parts and FMDA DD17.2 front and rear rails.

Just some basic base extenders for glock ETS mags. The grooves hold it on really well, but the option m3 bolt in the back makes sure its not going anywhere. On the sea @my username.

So I made this. Should've asked before I spent 2 hours making it whether it would work but here I am. Any idea if this will work on the takedown? I dont see a reason it wouldn't so that's why I just went for it but does anyone with a galileo takedown wanna drop some insight?

Cannot decide between jb welding my thread adapter or epoxy. Wich have worked better for you? Ive seen gas leaks past the thread on both 9 and 22. My thought is that the epoxy is too thin possibly and not properly sealing, but running out? Wanting the best outcome after a 60 hour print lol.

Long time lurker, first time poster (I know that’s probable cringe) This is the second time I’ve tried printing a bottom, but this time I used an X1C and I’m amazed at the quality.

Is this print decent, or should I try to dial it in a little more?

    Print Settings:

    • 0.12mm layer height
    • 100% infill
    • 6 outer layers
    • supports enabled; printed rails down

So there’s a magazine sleeve for the 224 and it’s incredibly important and also apparently hard to find. Is there some way a person could 3D print the mag sleeve? How how would they go about it?

I’d be willing to pay if someone was up to the task. If you want a photo pm me and we can talk

Probably gonna get flamed in here but I think this turned out pretty well for getting my first printer Monday this week and after some tweaking I got it down with no strings. Next is a chairmanwon classic or coral stipple build. But this I think it turned out decent. What do you guys think.

Anyone that has printed the ACWY MP17 chassis please share your orientations for your prints. Having some supports issues getting in the way of a lot of the places moving parts need to be specifically on the upper chassis
