The Ark @fosscad.io HK416 22lr Fun Position

Like the MP5 22lr trigger pack, the HK416 22lr trigger pack can now rotate into the 3rd position. Development will continue to make it have FRT on the 3rd position. The 416 trigger pack is more challenging due to the hammer spring goes between the safety and trigger, taking up valuable space.
Some updates for the MP5 project. I have live fire function tested. The trigger is working as expected. I’m making a buffer weight to be added in the recoil spring channel, hopefully it will eliminate bolt bounce. This buffer weight will work in both the MP5 and 416 22lr.

The Ark @fosscad.io Should this be here?

There’s a wire running from the front of my hammer that is not allowing me to push the pin through, any thoughts on whether this should be here or how it can be surpassed ? Thanks
The Ark @fosscad.io Just a little remix of the Fosscannon. If you want it, follow me on the odd sea under Optimal_Fail.

CRAP! Don't do it! It's too good, and you'll end up with 27 extra sets (if you ordered 28 sets just for free shipping and didn't have anything else) that you might never use 🤣🤣.
But seriously, finally took my rifle to the range and went through 200 rounds on a PLA+ printed No Drill SCSSS. Massive thanks and kudos to rucksochtslos for the design.
I didn't take my phone or anything to shoot video with because honestly I didn't think a PLA+ one would survive. I'm sure it will break at some point, but dude....you are amazing. Your SCS design makes the super safety extremely cheap and very reliable. Again, thank you for your work. Next time I hit the range, I'll bring a camera. Now I just gotta figure out what to do with the 27 other sets 🤣🤣.
Side Note: For those who have made one, how has your experience been so far?
The Ark @fosscad.io What is a 3d printed gun

Sounds like a obvious question. Im curious about what is actually 3d printed. I see some that are only lowers and then all the interals are metal and the entire upper is metal and baught, some i see have metal all around the barrel. So is a 3d printed gun just anything that shoots that has a piece of 3d printed material, is it just a fun hobby so why define it, or do most people 3d print a lower and everything else is metal?

As the title implies. To be fair i have a file for this and I’ve printed 2. They feed properly and the follower activates the slide stop when empty. But i think the design is lacking finesse. Haven’t started learning cad yet but i will soon. Work been smokin my ass😂

Guy was being an asshole in the comments to the bottom designer. Got mad that he released an "unprofessional" free gauge when the dude sells that one for $20. So...I replicated his design and released everything for free. Step files and all. Have at it.
The Ark @fosscad.io Good enclosed printer?

Hello everyone i come to you today with a question that probably gets asked a lot these days but what is a good enclosed printer for around $300-350 for making firearms/components. I have a ender 3 pro currently but i don't think I can even get it leveled enough to confidently produce a safe and functional firearm i tried an autolevel kit once but I couldn't really get it to work well :/

So I recently upgraded to a Neptune 3 Plus and finally decided to pull the trigger on my first true 3D2A print. I am pretty familiar with 3D printing from other projects, so I swung for the fences with u/DaFizzlez "Blicky". I followed the read-me as close as possible but had to research some setting and SWAG a couple. Printed at .16 quality, with 10 walls, 100% infill, 60 bed and 205ish nozzle temp. I used Prusa since I couldn't get the support settings how I wanted in Orca or Cura. The frame took about 40 hours looked great all throughout the process. However, after removing supports and upon further inspection the front of the frame was warped pretty significantly. I suspect the warp was from printing the frame at a slight angle to cut down on print time and filament usage. Also the spots where supports were attac

Please forgive any ignorance on my part, but would increased power springs be viable in addition to the addition to the tungsten?
