I feel like an idiot. I’ve spent entirely too much time on trying to decipher the R word and still haven’t LOL

Apparently it's okay to use "gay" in a disparaging way... but I can't say using it like that is pretty fucking (insert a certain banned R word).

I meant like a 1”x1” square, which i chop to confetti. I think finer is better

  • u/milSpec- · 2024-03-15 22:32:34 UTC · score 2

Does the size of the chopped pieces matter much? In the readme it mentions a 1" strip cut up, should I try to separate the strands? Or is confetti okay?

I have a few questions about a super safety. Specifically, what is the highest quality brand you can get on the market

I also have a few questions about what is the highest quality drop in trigger you can get in the market when cost is not a problem. And the less the weight of pull for the trigger, the better As it will mostly be used in semi auto for accurate shooting and not super safe. I don’t mind if modifications needed to be make the expensive drop in trigger work with a supper safe. It would be nice if somebody made a titanium super safety or even a tungsten super safety. Having a fully titanium upper would be nice as well, but I’m not that rich.

Just noticed on AS Designs production status page that they've put in there "Project Abandoned" under Steyr Aug SS.

Anyone have more insight into this?

Leber V2 plate issues....did SCS screw this up?

So I ordered some plates for my Leber V2 build from SCS.

When I got them today I tried the jig and it was too wide to fit.

I measured the jig and it was 17.33mm which matched the step file.

I measured the top and bottom of the bend on the plate. The bottom was 16.82 mm and the top was 17.90 mm (which could have been pushed out from me trying to insert the jig).

All the holes on the plate look strait and it fits into the my leber lower just fine.

So is this an issue or can the plate still be used?

I made sure my settings matched what was in the documentation. I doubled checked and I did select 0.074 (1.9mm) and even measured it and what I was sent is around 1.85-1.89 mm thick.

If you can guess the error without context. I will buy a set of rails to be sent to you.

(It was figured out and fixed)

Anyone knows how long the bolt has to be the manual says 250 mm is enough for three bolts so this divided by three is the bolt length or what?

One shot at a time. Three chances to make it count. The thREEVOLVER is now in Beta with The BLC from Imposterarms and Joe Dirt. The thREEVOLVER utilizes Joe Dirts JD12 framework and firing system to create a unique pepperbox style hand cycled revolver. Rocking a trio of Bersa barrels in 380ACP with planned more caliber/barrel options in the works. Hit up the BLC for more info or to get involved with testing. One shot at a time. Three chances to make it count.

Suggestions for slide release not fitting with gspot lever?

A friend of mine printed a 17.3 frame and is having trouble fitting the slide release in with the metal gspot trip. Any suggestions I can tell him? In theory he says it'll still run without the slide release but curious if anyone else ran into this issue and has a suggestion of how to fit both.

Currently finishing up the PLAR and need another project and figured the DB alloy would be next. The problem is, there are so many files on the sea and im not sure which would fit my needs the best.

I'm looking for one that can take side plates, SS, and the aluminum tail piece if possible.

If there is betas or something coming out soon, I dont mind waiting for that either.

    Thank you as always
