Ive been having a heck of a time with the helteks lately. Its such a power hungry board. My battery full charge will only last for a day before needing another charge. And any time the power goes out for more than 5 mins the device resets its name. No idra why. Its been really difficult lately.
The closest i found is pulling the code down to a local git server and runningbthe build myself then usingbthe pythpn tool to get everythingbsetup. Took a long time. And dependencies are all online.
Honestly nothing in the stack is prepated for a true internet outage. You can maybe get the bin/images files in case of a SHTF moment, but thats about it.
Oh i may have interpreted the question wrpng. Woops. Well its still a comsideration. Dependencies are all liabilities waiting tp happen.
Oh that us strange. I just temember what happened to the switch emulation community. They all went off github after the initial takedowns and now the just dont develop on github.
Why avoid the shell executor on docker? I did 4years of gitlab back a bit ago. It was super simple. But I haven't kept up since work maintains actions and Travis. And there's a way nowadays to inject the env or pull from a secret server-ish.
All ci is basically the same. Or at least for a while.
Circleci, Travis, and gitlab all allow you to ssh into the box you are trying your scripts on and fix it there. Much easier and takes a lot less time. Github actions have an unofficial way of doing it and is....not the best. Actions is actually one of the worst CIs I'm my experience.
The new firmware is awesome! The ability to send basic messages is what ive been wanting for a while.
