    No I didn’t, there’s 2 versions of the charging handle, I printed both out and found what worked best. I don’t have it anymore otherwise I’d tell you which one I used :(

    Yea man, you have a wonderful printer. What I wish someone told me was adjust your horizontal expansion. I had issues of parts not sliding in together or holes not being big enough for bolts. Horizontal hole expansion will give you PERFECT holes and make everything fit 👌🏾

    did you have to do any modifications. I'm trying to use my p80 g17 and the charging handle won't make contact with the rear sight.

    Awesome. Thanks. How's it holding up months later? Anything you'd do differently?

    I'm still practicing with the p1p, 3DP in general. Still at the sponge stage of soaking up in info and advice. Many trial n errors.

    I used the G17 that’s in the picture. It’s a Polymer 80 PF940V2

    Looking around for ideas on my first "big" project. Recently just learned of Middleton Made (neat-o).

    Is the hot pocket only for G19, or would G17 fit too? By G17, I should really say PF940v2. Anyways, trying to see what my options are for MCC/PCC files, 9mm stuff. Got that and a PF45 to hybridize into something, for starters.

    I've got a growing list of Beta's I've been participating in, and most of them are at a good point where they work, and we just need more testers to get them across the line. A bit about each of them, and how to join;

    Top: Turkey Vulture - Ranch Vulture - AWCY 300 Blackout Bolt Action Rifle. Hybrid of an AR and a DB9. Offers quick change barrels, and can be built in a more traditional AR format, or the ranch rifle format (pictured). I'll have kits available for this within the week including the SCS cut rails (pre-tapped)

    To join the beta, join AWCY's Matrix server and join the tester waiting room

    Bottom Row(from left to right):

    The Ryno - Gatalog 22 revolver, print in place. Very minimal hardware. Its not an easy print, but when you get the print dialed in, its very eas

    Just out of curiousity, printing a LMG is possible or the filements wouldn't be able to handle the heat and weight?

    Just wondering if printed SS can stand vs CNC (SCS) super safety’s. I know Hoffman’s design is under attack for patent violations which obviously makes no sense. I’m just wondering if I should get some SCS’d rather than just fire up the printer thanks

    It looks like Proof is already working on an improved version of his defiance lower that incorporate replaceable side plates.

    I’m sure his will be better than mine, but since I already had this whipped up, I figure I would let it sail.

    Also, I was asked to make a version that accommodates Hoffman bushings, so that is also included in this remix

    Want to print my first pew pew. Looking for some guidance / notes.

    Should I go with the FGC9 for 9mm? Is that the most tried and true / good one for beginners? Any with a slightly longer rail or can I add a 3rd party metal rail afterward?

    OR any good 556 options, I saw the Orca?

    Do I just DL the files and follow the guide?

    I think I'd like to just buy a metal barrel for my first one and any additional parts needed.

    Bambu X1c the way to go?

    Tks, sorry true noob who has been lurking for a little while. Want to get started!!!

    Found locally and I've heard good things about the P1S from this community. For this price, is this worth jumping on? Are there any wear and tear areas I should be aware of? If I go see it in person, is there anything specifically I should look closely at?

    This would be my first 3d printer, and while I'm pretty good with technology, this feels like a whole different animal.

    I'm having problems with this fiberon PA6-CF. It's printing like it's wet but Ive been drying it at 100C for over 36 hours and haven't seen any improvement. I've printed this same stuff with the same settings successfully before so I'm not really sure where to start troubleshooting. Is it possible it's just a bad roll?

    Idea for a new way of 3d printing metal parts

    Actually it's more of a deposition model or smelting technique now that I think about it, but would love your feedback.

    Step 1: 3d print a shape that you want in metal.

    Step 2: Use plaster of paris to make a mold and then either burn out or remove the plastic printed part.

    Step 3: Fill the mold with steel shavings or the like. Pack them in there so that they are all touching each other and are conductive.

    Step 4: Use a modified microwave smelter thing like in the below youtube clip to electrically smelt all the metal together in the mold, turning it into a steel part.

    https://www.youtube.com/shorts/2slLjSUwIEQ

    Since it all turns to goo, you could even build the structure out of larger steel bits and have the entire thing join together in a whole if you want.

    Let it cool and remove from the mold. Migh

    Hello everyone, I was getting ready to slice and print the baby Barrett, however the threaded barrel files don’t appear threaded in the slicer. I’m using Orca, am I just using the wrong slicer or maybe have the wrong files?
