    There's groves to improve grip on the shoulder. So it's designed to to he fired from the shoulder. Legally definition of a stock "device that is designed or intended to allow a firearm to he fired from the shoulder." So it's a stock, putting some velcro isn't going to change that. Remove the texturing, make it thinner and add proper velcro slots and you have a better argument. Yes the flat part is a stupid argument but it's the proper argument legally

    Fuck them it has the slots to be a brace at least you’re trying with the Velcro

    That’s absolutely a stock. It’s a damn near direct clone of an actual stock with a piece of Velcro on it.

    the atf does not have a list of approved braces, but they do have a couple of examples of things they consider to be braces. ATF Brace Doc

    not being a lawyer my stance is that if it looks like one of the things they say is okay and/or is being sold explicitly as a 'brace' by someone it's probably fine.

    I'm new to this in general, but own several braces. Does it split open to accommodate sliding it over ones forearm?

    Is it curved to fit your arm? Looks 100% like a stock with some cheap velcro to me.

    It’s a fun project but check the trigger to hammer tension. I had my hammer release on its own once.

    Digital Nimbus has some nice 320 grip modules. I don't think I've seen anything for the 365 though.

    lots of layers of paint, rub and buff silver and some nuln oil shade. the nuln oil didn't fill in lines as much as I was hoping. not sure if this was because of the rub and buff finish. but pretty satisfied overall. the photoshopped parts in the pistol grip and the front magazine grip is where i'm putting some mr pen's grip tape. just have to clearcoat everything before application.

    Sigh. Cracked one of the clamshell halves. And lo and behold noticed that the whole receiver was crooked AF when looking down the rail.

    PAHT-CF. P1S. Dried 85C for 12 hours in AMS-HT, annealed at 90C for 4 hours, sat in plastic bag with wet paper towels to remoisturize for a couple days, then sat idle for another day before working with it.

    Dunno whether to try again in PAHT-CF or say fuck it and print in PLA.

    Today I test fired my new bufferless AR9! • BCA Bufferless AR9 upper • NOBU V2 lower printed in PA612-CF • Lil' Carbon Folder with the brace end installed (because SBRs are still illegal somehow?) also printed in PA612-CF

    This thing is light as heck! I think it'll be the perfect backpack gun. Now that l've finished off my collection, I'll never need to think about getting another one... until next week.

    Has anyone here successfully installed a SS on the DB9 alloy? I’m looking for some help specifically with the trip bar. I got a set from DNT, got the titanium trip bar bent properly (I think, the guide leaves something to be desired, imo). I can’t seem to get the trip bar to fit between the bolt and the receiver. Even if I could the way the bar is bent it seems like it would interfere with the bolt sitting against the chamber. If anyone has any tips or better yet pictures with more than 12 pixels, I’d really appreciate it.

    2 hours later and we have a functioning trip for the M&P 15-22! Honestly was not expecting this to work as well as it is now. Will still require more tuning, but I wont know how until it is live fired.

    Next task is the bolt weight.

    I recently posted on here looking for a cheap lower kit and some of yall came through! In turn the Glock psa hybrid is alive and well. So now my next question is do any of yall have experience printing with PA612-CF15 because based off my research this material seems to be the best of all worlds when if comes to carbon fiber filaments for the price, but aye what do I know I haven’t used it.     Quick update. Able to get forced reset with my trip. Still very sloppy and it'll take some more work to get it functioning reliably, but we're getting there.
